College Relationships

College friends are like high school friends. Both will let us borrow their pens if he or she doesn’t have one. They will let us copy their assignments if we were too lazy to do ours. They will invite fellow friends to the mall after class. They will always serve as a bad influence and a good one at the same time. College friends, like high school friends, will always be there for us as our second family.

EXCELLENCE STARTS ON ACADEMIC WORK

All things sprang from small beginnings. A little effort exerted makes the picture a complete one. In academics, one has to go through ladder of experiences before one reaches the top. When one enters the room and pick up a chair, the journey begins. Listening in the discussion builds the first step. Application of the lessons learned through assignments works for the second step. It follows that one can perform on examinations. These are some of the few works handed over, that as one looks back, he or she has seen the development brought about by academic work.

How Does A Typical College Professor Teaches?

It is one thing to be cool but it is another to be revolutionary. College professors clearly show that they are the latter. They use different ways when they teach so that students can learn in the way that is easiest for them. The moment a typical college professor enters the room, he immediately discusses the lessons intended for that day. He might use a chalkboard or a projector. Then, students participate through answering the questions asked by the professor. After some sorts of discussions and explanations, the professor gives exercises to know if the students really understand the lessons. Then, he might also assign homeworks. Finally, he checks the attendance and eventually dismisses the class.

Extra-curricular Activities (An Analogy)

An extra-curricular activity is like another book that a college students might choose to carry despite of his already heavy books. However, unlike his academic books, this new book may save him from boredom and stress. He can meet new people, be friends with others, express his self, and show his talents through this book.

It started with a letter

Letters form words, and words form phrases/clauses/sentences. Sentences form paragraphs, and paragraphs result to any kind of writing. First, it’s just a misused letter that could result to a misspelled word, later, your whole writing is already stained, then your grade would rely on what you did. Now, you’re bothered if you’ll fail or not. Imagine, it was just a letter.
